Happy Ever After

I don't even know how to begin to explain the best day of my life.  As a little girl I always waited for the day where I would marry my prince charming. In young womens I remember making a list of every quality I wanted my husband to have, the list looks like this

  1. Handsome and Tall
  2. Strong
  3. Hard Worker
  4. Kind and Loving
  5. Priesthood holder
  6. Returned Missionary
  7. Treats me like a princess
  8. Honest/Trustworthy
  9. Has a strong testimony.
  10. Good Sense of Humor/ Funny
  11. My Best Friend
I can say without a doubt that chris measures up to all of those qualities and goes far beyond in many ways.  I cannot say how blessed I am to have married him.  Chris complements me so well and helps bring out my good qualities.

The temple was an experience I will never forget.  You just cannot explain the magnificent spirit that is felt within it.  No doubt in my mind, getting married in the temple was the best decision I ever made. I know that the work put forward to be ready and worthy to enter the temple was worth it.  I look back now and think to myself how guided and directed I was in my life by the spirit to make right decisions so that we could be married within the temple

Chris's grandpa was our sealer and he did a magnificent job.  The sealing had so much feeling and meaning.  Looking around and seeing all of my family and people that cared about me overwhelmed me. I remember looking into Chrises eyes and realizing I would be with him forever.  It was a feeling I will never forget. I know without a doubt I made the right choice to marry him.

Coming out of the temple.  I'll have to admit, I did tell Chris that we needed to look cute when we walked out of the tmeple.  But man did he over do it.  He grabbed me right when we walked out and started kissing me a lot.  I had to nudge him on the back and tell him, "Thats Enough Chris"

It was so exciting to walk out and see everyones faces

Chris loves his little neice so much! She's adorable

I couldn't be happier to be married to my best friend!

He's pretty sexy I'd say

The wedding crew, all these people helped so much with the wedding and were there to greet us when we came out~

Gross! We love to kiss

I Love this picture!
I kind of feld like a princess, all decked
out with my hair done and a beautiful dress.
Plus I just married my prince charming.

Best decision I ever made! I still cannot fathom
that I get to be with Chris forever!
Toms were a great pick for a lot of walking around!

How did I get so lucky?
The lady's on Chrises side of the family!

All my girls! I love my friends they have helped me through so
much.  I have learned from all of them!

Chrises boys:)

My grandparents.  I really look up and admire them

My fam, love them with my whole heart!

My mom didn't think we got a picture at the wedding. She had nightmares about it after the wedding.  When we finally got the wedding pictures back she was thrilled when she saw this picture.  My mom is awesome!  My wedding day wouldn't be anything without her and all her hard work.  My mom has been my best friend for a long time! I love her

We thought we'd experiment a little bit.  It worked:)

These girls are the best!

How cute is Chris's Grandfather?
Thanks mom and dad for everything and the amazing wedding
Jake and I.  Its kinda crazy how much old he is

Hahah, this picture was a bit of a surprize when we got the photos back! We could not stop laughing.

I didn't get to actually try it, but I hear we had a
delicious crepe bar.

The reception center was quite full.  We ended up going down the
line to break it up as the night got later.

Cami sang while Alli played.  They were so cute!
I wont forget Cami came over the night before the wedding
to practice their song together.  It was so sweet to hear them
and calming as I was getting anxious for the next day.
Can you believe we actually snuck in a bite of food at our
reception? It wasn't until almost time to leave.  Luckily we had
made a little stop in at Red Mango from the temple to the
recpetion

He actually fed it to me nicely! Surprize!

Kiss!!!
Throwing the boquet.  I might of hucked it a little too hard
at first.

Stehpanie Wright, one of my good friends from high school caught it.

It was so fun to talk to all of my good friends!
Daddy Daughter dance.  This was one of the most special
parts of the whole day.  It was so nice to be able to step back and
talk to my dad amoung all the business. I love him so much and I
am so thankful for him in my life.  I don't know what I would do without him
I don't think I will ever be able to listen to the song
we danced to without remembering this special time
and getting a little teary eyed.

Chris and his momma so sweet.

Time to take off!

So blessed and lucky to be married to my best freind!

Oh the Honeymoon:)

I know typically the honemoon post should come after the wedding, but we still haven't gotten them back and I just couldn't wait any longer. Wedding pictures will be coming soon!

Breakfast Buffet in Vegas, We may have started out the morning a little bit tired!
Awww;) Look at my new hubby sleeping
ARE WE THERE YET?!?!?
Yay, after many hours of driving we made it on the Carnival Splendor Cruise ship.
We both couldn't be more excited. This was Chris's first Cruise and I'm pretty sure
it won't be his last.  It was the best trip he could have chosen for a honeymoon!
How could you do bettter? Its relaxing, sunny, beautiful, fun, and there is
food any time of the day you want it.  Plus you get waited on all of the time!
I felt like a princess;)

I challenged my new husband to a game of mini
golf.  They had this awesome golf cours on the top
of the cruise ship! I'm pretty sure I won!

Getting ready to hit up the pool on top of the
ship! By the way did I mention we had an awesome
deck in our room where we could see the ocean and
listen to the waves while we sleep.

I loved getting dressed up and going to dinner
and dancing!

Guess where we are headed? Zip line baby! It was
probably my favorite excursion we went on. We even
got to go down upside down.

We are cute huh? All geared up and ready to go!

I found a baby banana along the trail and got super
exited.  I opened it up hoping I would be able to eat
it, but it was all moldy inside. I guess bananas in Mexico
aren't quite as good as banans in Hawaii.

We walked along this pretty trail.  We found an avocado
and once again I got super excited because it
reminded me of Hawaii.  They had massive avacados there.  It wasn't ripe so we smuggled it into our bags.
I felt like a rebel.  It was pretty good when we ended
up eating it.

So fun!

I Love You Sweetheart

This was our favorite beach we went on! Lovers Beach!
While we were on the beach it was a little crazy.  We had some massive waves that
would crash against the rock! It was immpossible to get into the water on one side, and the other was
just barley managable.  We got lucky enough that our taxi driver came back to pick us up.
We got soaking wet and almost hit by the taxi trying to get on in the massive waves.
Chris was so thankful our taxi driver was patient with us he gave him
a big tip.

I still cant get over how beautiful it was! Lovers go to lovers beach:)

Before I married Chris I told him I didn't think there would be many new
surprizes I would figure out about him.  I already knew him so well.  Well
that wasn't quite true.  I learned a couple new things.  For one, Chris loves
margarhitias!  He got one pretty much everyday.

Margarhita Lave

We LOVED dinner! It was so nice to be able to order anything
you want.  You don't have to worry about price, if your going to like it,
and you could order multiple entrees and appetizers.  Chris took full advantage of
that.  I couldn't go a night without getting a chocolate melting cake for
dessert.  They were soooo good!

We really like the group we got put with! At first we thought it would
be weird to sit with people every night.  But it ended up being great.  We
all would talk about our days and stories.  Two of the couples were from California
and the other was from Utah as well.

Fancy night.  We didn't plan to match okay
The ship was so flashy and fancy.  We loved walking
around and ooing and awwing at everything! The
shops were fun to look at as well.  I'm surprized we
didn't end up buying any perfume.  We went in
that shop everyday.

Good way to end an amazing honeymoon. We saw rainbows our whole drive back.
That must be a good sign right? I had the best time of my life.  I absolutly love being
married to my best friend!  I'm so excited to go through lives ups and downs with
someone I love so much!

Spudman

Spudman Here We Come!

This past weekend Chirs, my family, and I drove up to Burley Idaho to do the Spudman Triathalon.  It was Chris's first triathalon.   Chris was really nervous he would sink to the bottom on the swim, but the current from the river was great!  We had some struggles throughout the race and I think both of us wanted to leave eachother at some point during it, haha!  During the bike, Chris said to me, "Babe were way behind we need to pick it up." His tone changed a bit, when we got to the run and I was saying that right back at him.  Despite this, our time didn't matter and it was awesome to come in at the finish together:)

We are Done!!! Jumping back in the lake at the end was the best part:)
